16 Dec Design Moves Collaborates with Local Artists for Opening Mixer
OAKLAND PARK, FL- Last Friday, upwards of 50 professionals attended a Design Moves event with the opportunity to networking with local business owners and creative experts alike.
Design Moves themed the evening “Grow With Us” in order to encourage growth and partnership within the Oakland Park community. The hybrid marketing company used this as an opportunity to collaborate with businesses and organization in the area in hopes of finding unity within the downtown business district. Dicks Services Station, Tenth Level Tavern, In Her Zone, and Urban Farming Institute respectively contributed to the event.
The highlight of the night surrounded the local artists showcasing their pieces on the walls of the Design Moves office. Sacha Suarez, Penelope Fedor, Kre8, YaniPaints, and Beth Autumn were the featured artists of the evening. Each artist at the event brought a distinct style that stood alone against the other artists. The stories and emotions evoked by each piece filled the space with vision and originality. By inviting a unique and diverse group of artists the Design Moves team wanted guests to understand that inspiration for design and marketing is taken from all around them.
“We take inspiration from things all around us and by having these artists here we hope we provide something that inspires you,” said Marketing Assistant Monica Kioshi. The Opening Mixer was the first time Design Moves opened it’s doors to the Oakland Park & South Florida community since relocating from New Jersey.
The estimated 2 hour long event continued well into Friday evening showing what a successful, fun and inviting environment the Design Moves team created.
